We hope you will take this opportunity to visit school sometime during our CR Education Week to get a sampling of your child’s school experience. The schedule for this special week is as follows:
- Tuesday, January 17 Parent Visitations, 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, January 18 Parent Visitations, 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Thursday, January 19 Parent Visitations, 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Parent Workshops are also on this day. See below for more information.)
In order to help us maintain a focused, productive learning environment for the children, we ask for your cooperation with the following:
- Preschool children are not permitted in classrooms.
- Refrain from any avoidable distractions, such as cell phone calls and sidebar conversations, while in the classroom.
- In order to allow our teachers the time they need to plan, prepare and meet children’s needs, please do not seek individual conferences during your visit. Our teachers will be more than willing to schedule a conference with you at a later date, if necessary.
- Avoid bringing any food or beverages into the classroom. You are welcomed to enjoy the treats provided by the PTO at the reception area by the front office.
Please note: Parents are not permitted to attend indoor/outdoor recess and lunch for school safety and security reasons.
Dismissal procedures will remain the same during parent visitation days. If you need to have your child dismissed before 3:35 p.m., you must report to the front office to sign your child out. As usual, no children will be dismissed to parents directly from classrooms. Please send in a note if your child will be a car rider, and then wait for them outside the front entrance. I encourage you, however, to allow your child to take the bus home, if possible, to help reduce some of the traffic congestion.
Our Workshop schedule for Thursday, January 19th appears below. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP by tearing off the slip below and returning it to the front office. This will help us to have adequate space and materials available.
